Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
The quote form only requires six pieces of information: your gender, birth date, how much coverage you want, which term length interests you, how you'd rate your general health, and whether you use tobacco. That's sufficient to generate carrier quotes. We collect your name, address, and detailed health history only if you decide to move forward with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The prices you see here are what each carrier is quoting for the health tier you selected. After you apply, the carrier conducts underwriting and may confirm, lower, or adjust your rate class. These estimates are educational only and not a guarantee of coverage or pricing.
What happens when I click Apply?
When you select Apply, you first provide your name. The system then creates an application using the exact quote you picked and sends you to the carriers' secure platform. You're able to pause and come back, and all signatures happen online. Susman Insurance Agency, License 0B75129, processes the entire application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies depending on the carrier, how much coverage you're requesting, and your health answers. Some carriers offer immediate decisions for applicants who qualify; other carriers may need to order an exam. Each quote you receive will indicate whether the carrier requires an exam, might require one, or doesn't need one.
Is a longer term better?
A term protects the years when your death would create financial hardship: when a home loan is outstanding, when children are young, or when a business depends on your income. Longer terms cost more monthly but keep your rate locked in for more years. The quote tool lets you compare costs across 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year terms.
Does this site sell my information?
Not at all. To see quotes, the form gathers only gender, birthdate, health level, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term. The form doesn't ask for your name, phone, or email. We don't sell any information you do provide, don't share it with marketing companies, and track visits without cookies. Details about what we collect appear on our privacy page.
